Over the past several years, business and community leaders have shown unprecedented support for early childhood education.

Earlier this month, The Committee for Economic Development, released two new resource for business leaders to engage in early childhood education. The first of the resources, is a 5-part audio podcast series entitled, Conversations on Advancing Early Learning, which features business leaders and national research experts discussing key topics about early learning. Podcast guests include, J.B. Pritzker, Co-Founder and Managing Partner for the Prtizker Group, who discusses the role philanthropy plays in early learning. Additionally, Dr. Patricia Kuhl, Co-Director of the University of Washington Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences, discusses unraveling the science of early brain development.

The committee has also released a list of ways business leaders can advance high-quality early childhood education. Examples include, highlighting the connection between early learning and life-long success as well as promoting the return on investment.
