At the White House Summit on Early Education, more than $1 billion in public and private investments was committed to develop and expand early childhood education programs across the country. Advocates, public officials, business leaders, policymakers, celebrities and philanthropists answered President Barack Obama’s call to build a stronger nation by investing in our greatest resource — our children.
