Julia Cinquegrani

Government Affairs Manager

Julia Cinquegrani joined the First Five Years Fund as Government Affairs Manager in 2025. In this role, she advances FFYF’s bipartisan federal advocacy and government relations agenda, with the goal of ensuring all children have the strongest opportunity to succeed. Cinquegrani joined FFYF from Capitol Hill, where she spent close to a decade leading legislative, outreach, and funding initiatives to strengthen our nation’s education system and increase federal support for children and families.

Cinquegrani served as the lead education policy advisor to U.S. Senator Bob Casey and U.S. Congresswoman Susan Wild, and led their work as senior members of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, and the House Committee on Education and Labor. In addition, Cinquegrani spearheaded annual Congressional appropriations initiatives for education and child care programs, executed events focused on federal policy and constituent outreach, and advised on reauthorization efforts of the Higher Education Act, the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, the National Apprenticeship Act, and implementation of the Every Student Succeeds Act.

She began her career on Capitol Hill with internships in the offices of Congressman Ben Ray Lujan, Congressman Chris Van Hollen, and the U.S. House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. Cinquegrani earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Sociology from Franklin & Marshall College, and lives in Washington, D.C.
