Voters want child care solutions and our latest polling makes that abundantly clear!

This new poll found that voters overwhelmingly support policies that help working families with young children access child care. This includes strong support for increased federal funding provided to states to expand their existing child care programs as well as expanding federal tax benefits to both families and employers.

  • An overwhelming majority of voters (85%) support increasing federal funding to the states which allows them to expand their child care programs (known as the Child Care Dependent Block Grant).
  • In fact, 3 out of 4 Trump Voters (75%) support increased federal funding to states to expand child care programs (and more than 9 in 10 Biden voters.)
  • And three out of every four voters (76%) support increasing the federal child care tax credit (known as the CDCTC), the only existing tax credit specifically designed to help ease the burden of child care costs for working families.

Share these findings with your Senators and Member of Congress to make clear that child care and early learning are a priority for voters!
