What an exciting year this has been for early learning and care!
We are so grateful to our many partners and allies here in Washington and across the country who have helped achieve great things for America’s young children and their families. The overwhelming bipartisanship that, for years, has powered so much of our progress remains strong, creating opportunities for new and innovative child care solutions and crucial funding increases.
In fact, just this week, Congress included more than $1 billion in increased funding for the federal early learning and care programs in the FY2020 spending bill!
So, as 2019 draws to a close and we prepare to enter a new decade of advocacy, we hope you’ll join us in celebrating the many achievements of the past year. Take a look at FFYF’s Top 10 ECE Moments of 2019!
Next year will no doubt bring even more exciting opportunities to make progress for children from birth through age five. We must double down in our efforts to help find bipartisan solutions that take us from where we are to where America needs to be. And with your continued support and partnership, FFYF is ready for the task ahead!
Enjoy the holiday season, and may 2020 bring you much happiness and success. We look forward to our continued work together next year.
