FY18 and FY19 Funding Levels for Selected Early Care and Learning Programs
In September 2018, Congress approved a bipartisan “minibus” appropriations package, which included an overall increase of $260 million to federal early childhood education programs. This crucial funding builds on previous bipartisan funding increases and allows states to implement important quality improvements to child care and other early childhood programs to support children’s development and education.
